Summary:
When Hamish Macbeth, local constable of the Scottish village of Lochdubh, tries to break up one of the many fights involving Randy "Macho Man" Duggan, the ruffian challenges him to a fistfight. Everyone expects Macbeth to take a beating from the man who claims to be a professional wrestler, but on the chosen day, Duggan is found shot to death--and Macbeth is the likeliest suspect. The brutal Macho Man left a trail of fear and hatred in his wake, and Macbeth must find the murderer, clear his name, and restore his Highland paradise to its usual tranquility amid all the excitement.
