This is a story about a family who adopts a whippet/Jack Russell/sheltie mix puppy. The adventures begin when they bring Bagels home. Add a cat named Creamcheese and a goldfish named Lox and you have a recipe for disaster. Even though doors and windows are closed, Bagels manages to get into areas of the house that he shouldn't. Eight-year-old Josh is the narrator of the story, and he and his five-year-old sister Becky are responsible for cleaning up the messes that Bagels gets into.
