Summary: The story of David Balfour, a courageous young Scot kidnapped by a cutthroat sea captain. The lad is heir to a great fortune. But his evil Uncle Ebenezer wants those riches and conspires with the captain to abduct David and sell him into slavery in the Carolinas. At sea, captive and friendless David fears his fate is sealed, until a dashing rebel with a price on his head offers his aid. Can David trust this wanted man?
